This is a review of some of the stories from Volume 1 of Mrs Birch’s magnificent collection of Disciplinary Literature. If you enjoy Domestic discipline, Petticoat punishment, scholastic type discipline, corporal punishment and chastity for the subjugated male, you will be in heaven with this collection! Prepare to be transported to a world where the women take charge and the men do as they are told.

 

 

 

“The Comeuppance”

 

The first chapter of this classic Scottish tale of discipline from the last century sees us introduced to the matriarchs who rule every aspect of poor Brady’s life. He lives under the strictest discipline imaginable. He started out in this household as a boarder when he was studying and even though he is now working and 22 years old these women have total control over his life. His life is one of work, chores, punishments and extreme humiliation. He must refer to the two sisters who own the house, Margaret and Elizabeth, as ‘Aunty’ even though he is not related. This enforces his boy like and subservient status. Both sisters demand he works hard and obeys them but only one uses corporal punishment at this stage. Then there is the fearsome Grandma McCabe the Auntie’s mother. She lives in her own house but visits often. She is very a much a believer in the phrase;  ‘The devil makes work for idle hands’. She ensures Brady has plenty of chores and sees him unworthy of enjoying any leisure or free time. She is the strictest of all and the most fearsome as a disciplinarian. While not as hard a hitter but perhaps most humiliating of all for poor Brady is that he can also be punished by Miss Tina, who is actually younger than he is. She is a right bitch who delights in getting Brady in trouble and delights in disciplining him. This is a great story and a wonderful start to the series.

 

Total Submission – Part 2

 

How many of us submissive types have fantasised about being totally enslaved as a sissy maid to a dominant woman? This is a story of one such man who desired this more than anything and responded to an advertisement in a contact magazine. When he first meets Caroline he is captivated by her beauty and charmed by her presence. He signs the contract proffered by this sadistic woman with eager anticipation, effectively giving up any rights and privileges that he once had. He will soon learn that the difference between fantasy and reality is much harsher than he ever imagined. His life is about to become one of extreme hard work, impossible expectations, spartan living conditions and harsh punishments. The sadistic nature of Caroline gives this story incredible depth and makes for some cruel predicaments and punishments for Nancy.

Part 1 sets the scene for what is one of the great stories of this genre. The twists and the turns keep you on the edge of your seat. Fasten your seatbelt for an incredible ride into the world of domestic slavery with this story!

 

 

“Total Submission” – Part 2 

 

This story picks up from part 1 with Nancy in her new position, locked in chastity and having just been told she will only get release every Friday the 13th. She has been locked in her cell in the dark with only a tape recorder. On that tape recorder Caroline has recorded her new Rules. He has one night to learn them. He presses the play button and listens. The Rules set the scene for the rest of the series. They are a masterpiece of Rule writing and will send shivers of fear and excitement down any submissive’s spine. We then hear about the first days of Nancy’s new life. It is the start of an incredible story of harsh petticoat discipline and domestic slavery.

 

 

“A Blissful Marriage” – Part 1.

 

This is a great story about a loving female led marriage. The wife holds a high-powered position and is supported by her adoring husband whose purpose in life since his marriage is to take care of his wife’s needs as well as the household chores. His life is kept in order by the strict set of rules his wife has set down for him, and any breaking of the rules requires discipline meted out by his wife, naturally for his own good. His wife enlists the help of her mother an ex army officer and judge who helps her daughter train her husband to become even more obedient and useful. Through acceptance of his submissive position, he proves not only to be more useful to his wife and mother in law but he is happier in fulfilling his true purpose in life. This is a story that showcases how female domination in a loving relationship can bear such wonderful fruit.

 

 

“A Religious Upbringing” – Part 1

 

This is a most entertaining and at times, quite amusing story. If you have suffered discipline at the hand of the Catholic School system you will adore this series. In this first episode we meet Derek. He is at school and is being brought up by a single Mum who can’t control him and Derek runs wild. He is disrespectful, holds little regard for his schoolwork and spends all his free time playing football with his friends. The fearsome Sister Bernice from the parish school offers to help Derek’s mother and takes charge of Derek. This is the start of a major turn around in Derek’s life. He is turned from a wild, lazy, disrespectful lout into a conscientious, hard working Christian lad. There is one hilarious scene involving Sister Bernice and Derek’s football that is very entertaining. It is exquisite discipline! It is a wonderful start to a fantastic series. 

 

“The Written Imposition” 

 

Sissy Karen has earned herself a “Mrs Birch” style detention for her poor behavior at the Bridge night. First however she must don her posh private school girls uniform, write a letter to Miss Sandra apologising for her behavior and ride her girl’s Malvern Star bike to Sandra’s place to deliver the letter and then ride home. Miss Sandra ensures she further adds to Karen’s humiliation of course. On returning there are more punishments to be dealt with before Karen even starts her detention.

 

A Mrs Birch style detention is much more than just a writing task. It is an imposition indeed, taking many hours. There are food restrictions, rules about how she must sit and how she must not stop working until told. Any breaking of these rules can lead to corporal punishments and any mistakes mean starting again. This turns into a major ordeal for poor Karen. If you love scholastic style discipline combined with sissy themes, you will simply adore this story.

 

“Surfs Up”

 

This is a Sissy Karen classic. Mrs Birch has to go away and leaves Sissy Karen with her two friends Miss Sandra and Miss Katerina. They decide to take Karen on an excursion to the beach.  The ladies make the most of their opportunity to have Sissy Karen at their beck and call and make her work incredibly hard to ensure they have a great day out. Sissy Karen is loaded with gear to carry including Miss Sandra’s surfboard. It soon becomes a horror day out for Sissy Karen as she panders to the ladies every whim. The pain and humiliation she suffers is like nothing I have ever read before. It is very well written. The imaginations of Miss Sandra and Miss Katerina are truly breath taking. Their cruel sense of humor is 100% bitch!
